Various periods of emigration have contributed to a significant community of Czech descendants in South American countries.
Many of those who emigrated in the 19th century were often and erroneously identified as Germans due to the language they spoke, although, in reality, they were part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, which gave rise to the present-day Czech Republic.
It is estimated that around 8 million people in the Americas are eligible for the recognition of Czech citizenship through their ancestry. Unfortunately, many are unaware of their true homeland, still identifying themselves as descendants of Germans.
Recent changes in Czech legislation have expanded opportunities for eligibility to a more comprehensive range of descendants.
However, the legislation is VERY COMPLEX!
We are here to simplify the process by conducting an individual assessment for each case.
